Busy!

Been quite busy relaxing the past few days.

Been doing nothing but assignments over the holidays till half a week ago. Now I'm a bit relieved and ready to get back into it.

Lots of news, but none really related to the website, which is what this blog is about.

So, news in relation to the website. I stole a new camera (not literally) from a local op shop. Got it for a steal.

So when I get my scanner fixed, I'll create a film section (perhaps).

Start uni again next week, and will (hopefully) upload a new design project by next weekend.

Next assignment is magazine design which I'm excited about...

Been busy with Design class assignments.

You'd think you'd only have to put half the usual effort into it if it's a group assignment, but it's actually opposite.

You need to put in double...

Anyways, once it's done I'll upload it to the projects section if I like the finished product.

Also received my EOS Photo5 competition pack.

Pretty keen to get cracking on it!

More Updates

In a world were quantity seems to shine over quality, I just try keep my export expectations to quality only.

Just went through 300+ new photos.

Most are usable (I could look at surf photos all day), but I only chose a few to upload.

Check out the surf section for new photos from this morning!

Also added a new photo to the fauna section.

And a few photos to the 'Things I Like' section.

I'm also gradually switching the galleries around so that the most recent photos come up first, for convenience.

The weekend is here for me, and now I'm on 2 weeks holidays.

Thank goodness.

I'll probably start designing a proper logo over the holidays.

Hello,

Finally finished my first dynamic webpage.

It's basically a guestbook, but I hate that word, so I've called it, 'Hello'.

Basically, it's just for anyone to say hello, or comment my work.

Pretty pleased it's over with to be honest.

The assignment is due tomorrow and I've just finished writing 1000 words on it and creating flow charts, among other things that seem pointless.

Anyways, I didn't really want to post it up yet, but I thought it couldn't really hurt.

Plus, it's Friday tomorrow and I'm heading the Byron Bay this weekend.

Surf's been fun too.

Coming along

The new dynamic page is coming along, slowly.

After hours of mistakes and frustration, the results are finally coming through.

It will be at least a few days before I try a prototype of 'hello'.

The assignment is due this Friday (I think), so should definitely see some results by then, because I'm pretty keen to test it out.

I have a few more photos ready to chuck up when the time is right.

Also a design project to upload once it's finished (most likely in 2 weeks).

Not good to be back to a Monday, but there's a bit of surf hanging around, and I'm nearly on holidays, so it's alright.
